During class, students will also curiously ask the teacher what an airbrush is. What is it used for? Does the makeup sprayed from it look better?<\/h6>

Airbrushes actually use compressed air to turn foundation\/pigment into a fine mist that is sprayed onto the face\/body. Generally, makeup artists use them for large-area makeup application, such as face painting or body painting. Of course, some brides also request makeup artists to use airbrushes for their foundation. Many film and television makeup artists also like to use them to apply makeup on celebrities.<\/h6>

Ultimately, which is better, traditional makeup or airbrush makeup? Which is lighter? Honestly, it's a matter of personal preference. Using an airbrush doesn't necessarily mean a more sheer makeup finish; the key depends on the texture of the foundation\/pigment you choose, as airbrush products are available in water-based and silicone-based formulas.
