Backstage Academy New Year MV Challenge successful!
In 2022, our teachers and students at Backstage Academy Malaysia completed a challenge together.
We finally have our very own first New Year's song – "New Makeup for the Year of the Tiger."
The plan was originally supposed to be for last year, 2021.
but it was shelved due to the severe epidemic at the time.
But fate is always so wonderful,
When we were discussing at the beginning of the year about when this plan could be completed,
The next day, we received a message from our long-term partner company, Entens Multimedia, who wanted to chat about,
Do you want to write a New Year's song?
Since fate has brought us here, of course we're willing to accept the challenge! Hahahaha.
From hearing the song demo, to finalizing the song, choreographing dances, practicing dances, practicing vocals, recording, to the official filming,
The entire process only took a week.
The recording only took 2 hours.
Our teachers who diligently recorded, and our professional production team.
Everyone without a dance background learned the dance in less than a week.
During the dance practice, in addition to dancing well, everyone also built up their chemistry.
Until the very second before the official shooting, everyone was still diligently touching up their makeup and meticulously rehearsing.
We also finished filming the music video on the same day, using only the time from morning until 12 PM.
I can only say that our production team, our teachers, and our students are all too awesome.
For this day's shoot, everyone carefully coordinated their color schemes. Coincidentally, the sky was also beautiful that day.
