Facial skincare is important, so do lips need skincare too?

Have you experienced problems with your lips like this?

These situations could also be due toVitamin B deficiency / Some unintentional habits (often licking lips when they are dry / habitually biting lips, pursing lips... etc.)

Or perhaps you forgot the small details that are most easily overlooked in daily maintenance, which are Lip care

After cleansing and removing makeup, we all remember to apply skincare products to our skin. Natural lips need it too.

So many times, people might overlook this small step, leading to dry, flaky, sensitive, or discolored lips.

Today, I'm going to share with you simple and effective lip care steps.

What tools are needed for daily lip care?

Lip Scrub, Lip Treatment/Lip Mask, Plastic Wrap, Lip Balm

The image above is a product sample.

Step One:

After cleansing, apply a layer of lip scrub to your lips and gently massage in a circular motion.

The dead skin will be rubbed off unconsciously during application. Afterward, it can be rinsed off with clean water.

The main purpose of exfoliation is to remove the dead skin on the surface of your lips so that subsequent lip care can be effectively absorbed. The principle is the same as needing to regularly exfoliate/deeply cleanse your face.

Advice:

If you don't have a lip scrub, you can use granulated sugar + Vaseline at home.

Before exfoliating your lips, you can also apply a warm compress with a cotton pad soaked in warm water for 2-3 minutes. This can also help to soften dead skin on your lips.

Step Two:

After exfoliating, it's time for a lip mask. Just as your face needs a mask, your lips deserve deep care too.

We can apply a thick layer of lip treatment/lip mask. If you don't have lip treatment, you can use Vaseline as a substitute.

After applying, you can cut the plastic wrap into a size that fits your lips and apply it. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Then, you can rinse it off with clean water.

The difference between a lip mask/lip treatment and lip balm is that they are both relatively more moisturizing.

The thick application process allows lips to effectively absorb nutrients, achieving moisturizing care.

Third step

After completing the above steps, you've reached the final stage. After cleansing the lip mask, apply a layer of lip balm to your lips for daily lip care.

This achieves a moisture-locking effect. This way, your lips will remain soft even after waking up the next day.

After simply completing these three steps, you won't have to worry about dry, peeling lips or lipstick looking patchy, among other troubles.
