Many people think the most important thing in styling is what clothes to wear.

In terms of overall styling and image, there's one detail that absolutely cannot be omitted.

That's the coordination of 'accessories.'

Some people think accessories are dispensable, only making one look prettier when worn.

NO!!!!! NO!!!!! NO!!!!!

Accessories are actually also a very important part of the overall outfit.

Beyond being worn for their beauty, accessories can also be: -

Add accents to simple styles to highlight them.

Sometimes a simple garment with no design can be enhanced with added accessories, giving it a focal point and making it more vibrant.

Elevate the sophistication of your look.

For example, not every piece of clothing someone wears is made of smooth/exquisite fabric. Sometimes, fabrics are inevitably a bit rough or slightly wrinkled. In such cases, you can elevate the overall ensemble's sophistication with well-chosen accessories.

- The overall collocation has moderate embellishments

For example: In Figure 1, the model's neck is a bit long, and when paired with a deep V-neck jacket, if no necklace is worn as an accessory, the neck line will continue to extend, making it appear even longer. In Figure 2, the model's all-black outfit lacks a defined waistline for a slimming effect. By adding a belt, the waistline is revealed, and the overall figure appears more structured.

- Makes the overall look more complete

As shown in the figures below, Figure 1 shows a model with accessories, and Figure 2 shows a model without accessories. The model's styling is the same in both images. However, the styling in Figure 1 makes the overall look more complete and better highlights the noble temperament the work aims to showcase. In Figure 2, the model's clothing and makeup are still luxurious, but a sense of elegance is lost, and the styling expression is slightly weakened.

Certainly, accessories include not only necklaces and earrings, which we often hear about, but also hair accessories (hair clips, hair ties, etc.), glasses, rings, bracelets/bangles, watches, brooches/pins, belts, socks, shoes, bags...etc.

Accessories are available in all kinds, and they also play an important role in styling.

So don't ignore it anymore.
